A prayer for all who are sick. family friends and those we don’t know Hang in there…
There is something to be said of prayer, for the the One we pray to is not limited.
For it is written: in James 5:13-18
13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you ill? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
17 Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Father, I thank you for always hearing me. I plead the blood of Jesus over them from the top of their heads to the soles of his feet. I thank you for the promises in your Word… Already you have said you have not forgotten them.
I pray according to the authority you have given me by your Word.
According to Luke 10:19
19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
I claim your promises over them, according to your Word… Psalms 41:3 3 The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness. I thank you Lord that no sickness has power over the name of Jesus. Not even Covid-19 For it is written: Philippians 2:10
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Thank you for never leaving them.
For it is written: Isaiah 46:4
Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
I proclaim in Jesus’s mighty name that they will live and not die according to your Word in Psalm 118:17
17 I will not die but live,
and will proclaim what the Lord has done.
Thank you Lord for your willingness to heal them according to your Word
Matthew 8:3
2 A man with leprosy[a] came and knelt before him and said, ‘Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.’
3 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. ‘I am willing,’ he said. ‘Be clean!’ Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.
I thank you that they are people of faith like the Centurion…
Matthew 8:5-10 & 13
5 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 6 ‘Lord,’ he said, ‘my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.’
7 Jesus said to him, ‘Shall I come and heal him?’
8 The centurion replied, ‘Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, “Go,” and he goes; and that one, “Come,” and he comes. I say to my servant, “Do this,” and he does it.’
10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, ‘Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, ‘Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.’ And his servant was healed at that moment.
I thank you Father that we are healed through your son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by His work on the cross.
According to your word in Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
I pray Father that you would restore all my brothers and sisters in Christ just as you have promised in your word, according to your perfect timing. Please strengthen their Faith. In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit… In Jesus’s mighty name amen…
